Our Mission
- To honor the life of Teresa Williams
- To create an event that promotes domestic violence awareness
- To raise funds for organizations that support those effected by domestic violence
We welcome you to take part in the 5th Annual Remembering Teresa 5K Run/Walk. This event is designed to help raise awareness of Domestic Violence and the effects it can have on a community. The money raised at this event will be used to provide a scholarship in honor of Teresa Williams to a high school graduate interested in the nursing field and to support our local domestic violence shelter.
Remembering Teresa Scholarship
Applicants for the Remembering Teresa Scholarship are required to volunteer their time at a local women's shelter and then write a short essay regarding their experience.Recipients of the Remembering Teresa Scholarship:
